Cubs Easily Beat Rival Cardinals
baseballThe Cubs beat the Cardinals 9-3 yesterday, thanks in large part to pitcher Ted Lilly. Lilly worked seven solid innings, recorded his 1,000th strikeout and added his second career extra-base hit. Not bad for a day's work.
